A Prayer for Missouri
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your mercy and grace for our state of Missouri. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for even considering Amendment 3, which stands against the sanctity of life. We humbly repent for any part we've played in allowing this to become a possibility.
Father, we lift up the unborn babies whose lives are taken by the act of abortion. We mourn for them, knowing each one is precious in Your sight. We ask that You welcome them into Your loving arms and give them the peace that this world could not.
We also pray for those who have gone through abortions. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon them, both physically and mentally. Grant them peace, comfort, and a deep sense of Your love and forgiveness. May they find solace in You and know that You are a God of second chances, who heals all wounds and restores all brokenness.
Lord, we pray for peace in our state during this time. Let Your presence be felt throughout Missouri, bringing calmness, understanding, and unity among us. We ask for an overwhelming movement of Your Spirit, leading to a resounding vote of 'No' against this amendment. Let Your truth and the value of life prevail in every heart.
